Tuesday, October 30, 2007
greetings from me

Dear Freinds,
It is a long time since I published anything. I am in Los Angeles to pick up some skills in video editing using Final cut Studio. Here I am in this photo on a visit to a Natural park called Yosemite in California, USA. I hope to publish some photos taken here in the coming episodes.
Your comments are welcome.

SHAMLAJI TEMPLE - part 1

It was a great day
for our team at Gurjarvani. Golden sunshine illuminated the stately and noble Shamlaji Temple in the north of Gujarat, a State in India. We spent hours shooting on our camcorder, enjoying every moment of our stay at the temple.
These stills are taken from our footage in a mini DV format.
We realized that it is only when we spend quality time to look, examine and study this ancient art form, not as hurried tourists, but as keen observers, we slowly begin to appreciate the beauty of these master pieces done years ago.
These statues and pillars are carved in stone reflecting and capturing every deep human longing and experience we may go through in this world. It is as if one hears the cry of the artists reminding us: the ultimate goal of our lives is to reach the supreme being, the all embracing presence of the Divine bieng in whom we move and have our being!
